A 34-year-old McRae man faces numerous felony charges after allegedly discharging multiple gunshots in the parking lot of Harvey’s grocery store in Hazlehurst Thursday afternoon.
Hazlehurst police say Freddie Lampkin was arrested following the incident, which occurred around 1 p.m., and another individual is currently being questioned. Authorities stated a total of nine shots were fired during the altercation that officials believe originally stemmed from an argument at work between Lampkin and a co-worker.
Several vehicles in the parking lot were damaged, but there were no reports of injuries.
