A McRae woman was arrested on meth charges and her male companion faces one count of giving false information to officers following a traffic stop Thursday.

Officials with the Douglas – Coffee Drug Unit (DCDU) stated officers stopped a vehicle on SE Bowens Mill Rd. in Douglas for a traffic violation and discovered a passenger was in possession of methamphetamine.

As a result, 25-year-old Kandi Lamb of McRae was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Mathew Quinn (25) of Douglas was also arrested during the incident for giving false information to law enforcement officers.
