On Thursday, September 24, the hallways of Eastside Elementary School were filled with members of the Coffee High football Team. The Trojan Football players were all special adoptees of classes at Eastside.

The “Adopt-a-Trojans” visited with the students and teachers who have adopted them during the 2015 football season. The football players read stories, discussed the importance of showing good sportsmanship on and off the playing field, and answered numerous questions from the students about their experience playing football for Coffee High.

Shown in the photos are students in Ms. Barbaree’s and Ms. Owens’ Pre-K class listening to a story about bullying read by their Adopted Trojan, Wade Sumner.

A special “thank you” goes out to all the “Adopt-a-Trojans” who took the time to visit and share with the students and teachers. Eastside Elementary wishes the Trojans a successful year!
