David G. “BUDDY” Paulk, age 81, of Ambrose, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Paulk was born November 5, 1933 in Ambrose, GA to the late Thurston Paulk SR and Doris Anderson Paulk.

Survivors include two daughters: Teresa (Mike) Fowler and Clarice (Joey) Anderson, both of Ambrose, GA and one son: Thurston Wesley Paulk of Ambrose, GA: seven grandchildren: Kimberly Duckworth, Jason (Kathy) Anderson, Justin Anderson, David (Amber) Fowler, Jaeger Paulk, Daniel Anderson and Kristen Paulk,: three great grandchildren: Jessie Anderson, Kyle Anderson and A. J. Duckworth. He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen Threat Paulk and son David Kimberly Paulk.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 Pm at Sims Funeral Home. He will Lie in State at New Hope Baptist Church on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM. Rev. George Carroll Paulk will officiate. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
