Annie Mae Ellis Roberts, age 96, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2014, at Southern Senior Living following an extended illness. Mrs. Roberts was born on September 22, 1919 in Hazlehurst, GA.
Survivors include: her two sons, Jimmy (Helen) Roberts of Douglas, GA and Steve (Maggie) Roberts of Valdosta, GA; brother, Bill Jarvis of Tacoma, WA; three grandsons, David Roberts, Bill Roberts, and John Roberts; seven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Sam Vernon and Jimmy Roberts officiating.
Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
