Having a meaningful and worthwhile philanthropy is a paramount issue for any Greek organization, and Beta Sigma Phi, Kappa Beta Chapter, proudly announces a donation of $6,472 presented to the Childhood Cancer Group of Coffee County (CCAGCC).

The generous donation was a result of contributions from benefactors who purchased gold mums in honor of childhood cancer awareness month and the fifth annual childhood cancer awareness auction and fundraiser.

This is the third year the service sorority has donated proceeds from their annual mum sale to the CCAGCC, and the Kappa Beta sisters are pleased to have almost doubled their first contribution three years ago.

“We love being a part of the CCAGCC; they help families locally and they support children, two goals our chapter finds dear to its heart,” says Kappa Beta President Hailey Ellis. “We are extremely grateful to the people who purchased mums and are proud to have participated in such a great cause.”
