Coffee County native Marsha Tucker held a book signing on Saturday at the Heritage Station Museum. Her book entitled “What Is the Message in That Word…? God’s Revealed Wisdom” has hit the shelves and is available for purchase on Amazon.com. Ms. Tucker, who has lived in metro Atlanta for a number of years, returned to Coffee County to host the book signing and meet and talk with her readers and the community.

Though she lives in Atlanta, Tucker was born in West Green and graduated from Coffee High School. She visits family and friends in Coffee County often. Writing has always been a part of her life growing up, and she recalled some of her writing experiences in school. One memory that stands out for her is when she wrote a poem for Valentine’s Day in high school and won a prize for it. She has also written two plays as well, but this is her first book.

“What Is the Message in That Word…? God’s Revealed Wisdom” focuses on defining principles of faith, family, and life through eye-opening translations of terms and ideas. It is a faith-driven text, and can be read in supplement to daily prayer or meditation. One of the driving forces of the book is the importance of families.

“Families are just so broken and departed these days,” Ms. Tucker states, an issue that her book tries to tackle by providing examples for better family life.

Each page provides something different and insightful for the reader to reflect on and apply to their daily lives. It is an inspirational text which works with Biblical teachings to help facilitate a Christian way of life.
