Ms. Dorothy LaDale Wooten Frank, age 86, of Douglas passed away Thursday morning, October 15, 2015 at the Specialty Hospital Memorial Health in Jacksonville, FL following a short illness. She was born October 13, 1929 to the late William Mack Wooten, Jr. and the late Maggie Hilliard Wooten.
Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Donna Frank of Douglas, GA 1 Son: Major Wayne Frank, U.S. Army Retired of Gainesville, FL 1 Brother: Bobby Wooten of Kathleen, GA 1 Sister: Jackie Wooten of Douglas, GA 4 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren Her Beloved Puppy: Dixie Special Friend: Athel Ashe of Douglas, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the West Ward Church of God with Rev. Britt Peavy officiating. The inurnment will follow in the Douglas Gospel Assembly Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Friday evening, October 23, 2015, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Douglas Humane Society – 620 Iron Road, Douglas, GA.
