Robert Wayne Harrell, age 52, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, following an extended illness. Mr. Harrell was born on July 12, 1963, in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Robert Harrell and Mary Della Kinnett Merritt.

Survivors include: his wife, Tina Harrell of Ambrose, GA; son, Brandon Harrell of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Danielle (David) Perez of Hazlehurst, GA; step-daughter, Summer (Jerry) Alewine of Ocilla, GA; step-son, Joseph Dorminey of Fitzgerald, GA; brother, Jerome (Vickie) Harrell of Ambrose, GA; two step-brothers, Michael (Gail) Merritt of Douglas, GA and Lamar (Robbie) Merritt of Ambrose, GA; step-sister, Patsy (Miles) Burkett of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Miguel Harrell, Ally Alvarez, and Gabriel Harrell; two step- grandchildren, Kelsie Alewine and Joseph Alewine; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Roy Merritt; sister, Diane Harrell; son, Dwayne Harrell; and grandson, Jacob Harrell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
