The Douglas – Coffee County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Mackenzie Bennett today as the newest member of their staff. Mackenzie is currently taking over the role as the marketing specialist.
Bennett attended Cook High School where she graduated in 2010. Following high school she attended Valdosta State University. During her time at Valdosta State, Mackenzie participated in an internship with Tift Regional Medical Center with the Outreach and Development Department. In December 2014, she received her degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations.
She is the daughter of Candler Jr. and Sonja Bennett of Cecil, Ga. Her mother is a pharmacist at Harvey’s in Adel, and her father works as a credit manager at R.W. Griffin in Douglas.
