The Satilla Regional Library System welcomed Mrs. Rowe’s and Mrs. Worth’s second and third grade classes from Indian Creek Elementary School to the Douglas/Coffee County Public Library on Thursday, November 12, for Thanksgiving story time. The stories read were What is Thanksgiving Day? by Margot Parker and Thanksgiving Is Here! by Diane Goode.

Miss Julie had a discussion with the classes about Thanksgiving traditions, the history, and what yummy foods they liked to eat. Everyone had a great time!

For more information about upcoming children’s programs or to schedule a field trip or classroom visit, call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667, ext. 222.
