Jimmy Lee Spivey, age 73, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Spivey was born on January 6, 1942, in Willacoochee, GA to the late Otis Spivey and Berta Mae Smith Spivey. He was a veteran of Vietnam War having served in the US Navy for over 20 years.

Survivors include: his three sons, Joel (Sabrina) Spivey of Alma, GA, Mark Spivey of Pearson, GA and Scott (Jennifer) Spivey of Douglas, GA; three brothers, Chuck Spivey of Lobelville, TN, Keith Spivey of Waycross, GA and Tommy Spivey of Fitzgerald, GA; three sisters, Betty Boatright of Hazlehurst, GA, Linda Chriswell of Linten, TN and Sherry Evans of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Elder Robert Taylor and Elder Steve Sirmans officiating.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
