Mr. James Roy Meeks, age 70, of West Green passed away early Monday morning, November 23, 2015, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. He was born April 25, 1945 to the late James Elmer Meeks and the late Maudell Douglas Meeks.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Christy (Kevin) Wise of West Green, GA and Peggy (Tony) Sellers of Alma, GA, 1 Son: Jimmy (Terry) Meeks of St. Mary’s, GA, 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at the Nicholls Church of God of Prophecy, with the Interment to follow in the Douglas Chapel Cemetery in Bacon County. Mr. Meeks will be placed in the church, Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. to lie in state until the funeral hour. The family will begin receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
