Lola Smith, age 85, of Broxton, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born on August 18, 1930, in Milan, GA to the late Calvin Yawn and Annie Dowdy Yawn.

Survivors include: her daughter, Judy (Elzie) Graham of Broxton, GA; three sons, Roy (Betty) Smith of Nicholls, GA, Milton (Jenny) Smith of Reidsville, GA and Jamie (Lynne) Smith of Broxton, GA; sister, Mary Gray of Hartwell, GA; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Roy Smith.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Broxton Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Parker and Rev. Derrick Herlocker officiating. Interment will follow at Rockwell Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
