Maria Reyes Corona-Sanchez, age 80, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Sanchez was born on January 6, 1935, in A Paso De Alto, Mexico to the late Jesus Corona and Guadalupe Perez Corona.
Survivors include: her five sons, Juan Sanchez-Corona, Gregorio Sanchez-Corona, Martin Sanchez-Corona, Miguel Sanchez-Corona, Marcelion Sanchez-Corona; five daughters, Yolanda Rodriguez-Sanchez, Margarita Sanchez-Corona, Laura Sanchez-Corona, Maria del Carmen Sanchez, Josefina Sanchez-Corona; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo Sanchez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. with rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Father Raphael Estrada officiating. Interment will follow at Satilla Memorial Gardens.
