Mrs. Nancy Carole Wooten Auger, age 65, of Douglas passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 25, 2015, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born August 17, 1950 to the late Joel Bryant “Joe” Wooten and Bertie Mae Miller Wooten.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: William Jerry (Casey) Auger of Nicholls, Ga., Joel Bryant (Amelia) Auger of Broxton, Ga.; Her Mother: Bertie Mae Miller Wooten of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Sister: Elaine (Jim) Fox of Douglas, Ga.; 4 Grandchildren: Emma Grace Auger, William Bryant Auger, both of Broxton, Ga., and Carissa Auger and Jerrie Nicole Auger, both of Nicholls, Ga.; 1 Nephew: Don (Tammy) Hamaty of Atlanta, Ga.; 2 Great Nieces : Hannah Hamaty and Caroline Hamaty, of Atlanta, GA; 1 Great Nephew: Matthew Hamaty of Atlanta, GA.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the West Ward Street Church of God, at 2:00 P. M., with Rev. Britt Peavy and Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating. The Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Saturday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
