Leonard Paulk, age 93, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at Oxton Place following an extended illness. Mr. Paulk was born on June 15, 1922, in Douglas, GA to the late George Paulk and Janie Vickers Paulk.
Survivors include: his son, J.L. (Louise) Paulk of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Clarice (Ronny) Aycock of Fitzgerald, GA; two brothers, Quinton Paulk of West Green, GA and M.J. Paulk of Alapaha, GA; four grandchildren, Brandy (Scott) Barlow of Ambrose, GA, Jake (Keri) Paulk of Ambrose, GA, Berry (Kimber) Aycock of Valdosta, GA and Doug (Tori) Aycock of Augusta, GA; two great grandchildren, Lenira Barlow and Laken Paulk; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his wife, Aline Ricketson Paulk; a grandson, Ron Aycock and three brothers.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2 :00 p.m. at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Rev. Walter Deloach officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
