Satilla library system announces Jan. children/teen events

Satilla Regional Library will be holding the following programs during the month of January for children and teens. Come and join the fun at Satilla Regional Library! For more information about upcoming children and teen programs, call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222.

Holiday Closings

Satilla Regional Library will be closed Friday, January 1, 2016 in observance of New Year’s Day and Monday, January 18, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens

All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years of age

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio. Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls throughout the year. Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations!

Children’s Programming

Story and Craft Program at all locations!!

Douglas: Mondays at 3:30 p.m. except Monday, January 18, 2016 when we are closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Broxton: Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
Ambrose: Tuesdays at 4:45 p.m.
Pearson: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m.
Nicholls: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.

Family Saturday Movie in Douglas

Come and enjoy a family movie at the library.
Popcorn and beverages will be served.
Vote on the movie you would like to watch.
