James Devon ‘VON’ Logue, age 68, of Douglas, GA passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Logue was born November 21, 1947 in Coffee County, GA to the late James Charlie Logue and the late Margaret O’Neal Logue.
Survivors include his wife: Cheryl Denise Logue of Douglas, GA; two sons: James Dewitt Logue of Pridgen, Ga and Jason White of Lafayette, LA; four daughters: Missy (Benji) Roberson of Pridgen, GA; Teiney (Jamie) Smith of Lakeland, GA; Shelly and Kelly Logue both of Douglas, GA; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren; three sisters: Catherine Logue, Linda Merritt, and Diane (Norman) Chaney all of Douglas, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10,2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 Pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment will follow at Purvis Cemetery.
