Franklin David Kirkland, age 82, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, following an extended illness. Mr. Kirkland was born on November 19, 1933, in Douglas, GA to the late Frank Kirkland and Alma Moore Kirkland.
Survivors include: his daughter, Gwyn Kirkland of Douglas, GA; son, Dexter Kirkland of Douglas, GA; sister, Betty McGonigal of South Caroline; granddaughter, Leanna Booth of St. Augustine, FL; great grandchild, Holland Booth of St. Augustine, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunny Side Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Teddy Burch officiating.
