Chamber Chairman Christian Taylor to pass gavel to Stanley Lott

The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce’s 89th Annual Event is coming up soon on Thursday, January 28, 2016.  One of the main items on the event agenda that evening is the passing of the Chairman’s Gavel from Christian Taylor, AgSouth Leasing Specialist, to Stanley Lott, GA Department of Labor Business Services Recruiter.

Lott was born and raised in Ambrose, GA. He attended Ambrose Elementary and graduated from Coffee High School in 1982. He attended South Georgia College and graduated from The University of Georgia in 1988. After completing his undergraduate degree, Lott continued his education at The University of Georgia from 1989 until 1990 where he was also a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Lott is a Business Services Recruiter for the Georgia Department of Labor/Business Services unit where he has worked for 22 years. He serves on various boards as well as a sports color commentator for the Coffee High Trojan Football Broadcast, sports talk show host of the Football Friday Night, and the Trojan Pregame Show on Shine 101.9 FM with Broadcast South LLC. He has two sons; Tyler Lott, who is a freshman at South Georgia State College, and Logan Lott, who is in 9th grade. His parents are Denzel and Mary Jo Lott of Ambrose, and he has one brother, Wesley Lott of Douglas, who is a farmer and the owner of Wesley Lott Insurance.

The 89th Annual Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce Event will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Central Square Complex in downtown Douglas.

Individual tickets are available for $50 as well as reserved tables of 6, 8 or 10. To further support the Chamber of Commerce, become a sponsor for the event.  Sponsorships are available at the $600, $800, $1,000 and $1,500 levels.
