Jimmy Cecil Stone, age 77, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Stone was born on October 1, 1938, in Douglas, GA to the late Edwin Stone and Minnie Lou Courson Stone.

Survivors include: his daughter, Renae Braynard of Macon, GA; three sisters, Frances Stone Carver of Douglas, GA, Tommie Stone of Douglas, GA and Helen Stone Smith of Pacific Grove, CA; brother, Joel Stone of Dublin, GA; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Stone and two sisters, Vonice Perry and Sue Ellen Stone.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 6:00 TO 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Stone officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
