The pastor of First Congregational Christian Church, Matt Rutland, spoke at Coffee Middle School’s first prayer breakfast of 2016.
Pastor Rutland shared that he is an example of a wayward student who was reached by a teacher who stood firm in the Word. It was many years later that he found how much he needed and appreciated that teacher’s influence.
As educators, we can have a positive impact on our students. Opportunities arise every day for our actions to show the truth. Let’s lead as God guides our paths. Thank you, Pastor Rutland, for speaking with our group.
