Mr. Bryant Whiting Kirkland, age 82, of Douglas passed away early Sunday morning, January 17, 2016, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born September 9, 1933 to the late Allan Kirkland and the late Dollie Russ Kirkland.
Survivors include: His Wife, Jeanette Thompson Kirkland, of Douglas, GA; Children: Tony (Loan) Kirkland of Starkville, Mississippi, Victor (Teresa) Kirkland of Nicholls, GA, Jamie (Joseph) Spivey of Broxton, GA, Lisa (Raymond) Harrell of Douglas, GA and Karen (Michael) Adams of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; 11 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 11:00 A. M. at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church, with the interment to follow in the Reedy Branch Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Monday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.
