South Georgia State College’s men’s basketball team joined members of the Waycross Campus Student Government Association (SGA) to watch the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade held January 18 in downtown Waycross.

SGA members in attendance included (below photo; back row L-R): D. J. Carter of Waycross, Aaron Moore of Blackshear, and Kevin Nguyen of Waycross. Front row (L-R): Haley McQuaig of Waycross, SGA President Destiny Smith of Hoboken, Maggie Santana of Blackshear, and SGA Advisor Merry Harris.

The Waycross Campus SGA establishes and maintains communication between Waycross Campus students and the College’s administration and faculty. It cultivates and preserves the ideals of responsible citizenship on campus and helps to create an atmosphere of learning.

For more information about the Waycross Campus SGA, please contact Merry Harris at (912) 449-7599.
