Julius Francis Hart, age 74, of Douglas, GA passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Hospice House in Waycross, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Hart was born July 15,1941, in Pavo, GA to the late Willie Hart and the late Evie Cooper Hart

Survivors include: his wife: Diantha Johnson Hart of Douglas, GA; five sons: Julius J. (Diane) Hart SR of Cedar Crossing, GA; Fc1 (sw) Charles E Hart (USNR Retired) of Lyons, GA; Robert David Lucas of Waycross, GA; Timothy R. (Sherry) Lucas of Waycross, GA and S/SGT Albert “Dusty” (Amanda) Lucas of Moody AFB of Valdosta, GA; two grandsons whom he reared, Daniel (Amy) Lucas of Douglas, GA and David Alex Lucas of Douglas, GA; ten other grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother Ed Hart of Pavo, GA; six sisters: Lanelle Schramm of Valdosta, GA; Laverne Folds of Moultrie, GA; Debbie Pittman of Moultrie, GA; Robin Hester of Pavo, GA; Betty Thompson of Moultrie, GA , Virginia Johns of Selma, NC, and Onecia Selph, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2 :00 PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. Jarrell Lillard officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA.

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
