Leston “Punk” Lott, age 85, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Lott was born on May 3, 1930, in Douglas, GA to the late Charlie Hugh Lott and Roxie Cassandra Stapleton Lott.

Survivors include: his wife, Evelyn S. Lott of Douglas, GA; daughter, Gail (Terry) Garbett of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren, Stacy (Ginger) Garbett, Trevor (Stacey) Garbett, Roxanne (Rob) Harkcom and Reagen Garbett; four great grandchildren, Trent Garbett, Bryson Garbett, Drew Harkcom and Abby Harkcom; sister-in-law, Marjorie Lott of Douglas, GA; special friends, Joanne and Russell Metts, Rhonda and Ricky Dorsey, Renee and Terry Robinson, and Joseph and Janie Spivey; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Spikes, Rev. Larry Stone and Rev. Matt Rutland officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
