Satilla Regional Library will be holding the following programs during the month of February for children and teens. For more information about upcoming children and teen programs, please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222.

Holiday Closings
Satilla Regional Library will be closed Monday, February 15, 2016 in observance of President’s Day.

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens
All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years of age

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio. Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls throughout the year. Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations.

Children’s Programming

Children’s Valentine Pajama Storytime in Douglas
Saturday, February 13, 2016 at noon at the Douglas/Coffee County Public Library in the Children’s Room. Come listen to Valentine stories in your pajamas. Bring your blanket and pillow! Get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day and hear some great stories.

Story and Craft Program at all locations

Douglas:  Mondays at 3:30 p.m. (except Monday, February 1 and 15)
Broxton: Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
Ambrose: Tuesdays at 4:45 p.m.
Pearson: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m.
Nicholls: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.

Family Saturday Movie in Douglas

Douglas: Saturday, February 27, 2016 at noon in the Large Main Meeting Room.

Teen Advisory Board Meetings in Douglas
Saturday, February 13 and 27 in the Large Main Meeting Room at the Douglas/Coffee County Public Library.
Please come and join the fun as teens meet together to help plan young adult programming, help order young adult books for the library’s collection, and plan fun upcoming fun teen events for 2016. Fun activities for teens! Earn volunteer hours for participating in Teen Advisory Group. Refreshments will be served.

Teen Choice Movies in Pearson and Willacoochee
Pearson: Friday, February 5, 2016 at 4:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: Friday, February 12 and 26 at 4:30 p.m.
