On Monday, Feb. 8, the Alma P.D., along with the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office and a Ware State Prison K-9 team, executed a search warrant at 412 W. 15th St. in Alma following a brief investigation.

Officers seized over six pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 1 ¼ pounds of marijuana, a Glock 9mm handgun, narcotic pain medication, and $15,090 cash.

Alma police have officially charged Millicent ‘Millie’ Newson (41) of Alma with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, (2) counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
