Mrs. Cecelia Maxine Martsching Deen, age 72, of Douglas passed away February 16, 2016, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. She was born December 31, 1943 to the late James Martsching and the late Lola Carnes Martsching. Mrs. Deen, a native of Ottumwa, Iowa, was a retired employee of Elixer Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Newton Deen.

Survivors include: 1 Son, Duwayne (Emily) Foret of Douglas, GA; 2 Brothers, Jim Martsching of Sylvester, GA and Larry Martsching of Vallejo, California; 2 Grandchildren, Kyle Roberts of Valdosta, GA, and Kayla Clemmons of St. Mary’s, GA; 2 Great Grandchildren, D. J. Shivers, and Aaliyah Roberts, both of St. Mary’s, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

The family will begin receiving friends Thursday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Ricketson Funeral Home. Memorial Services and Inurnment will follow at a later date.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
