Louise Beasley Carver, age 66, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Carver was born on December 3, 1949, in Douglas, GA to the late Preston Beasley and Doris Odum Beasley.
Survivors include: her daughter, Shonda (Mark) Merritt of Ambrose, GA; son, Preston (Mike Massengill) Carver of Aurora, MO; four grandchildren, Trista Merritt of Ambrose, GA, Brady Merritt of Ambrose, GA, Zenan Merritt, and Colt Carver of Douglas, GA; five brothers, Homer Beasley of Broxton, GA, Herman Beasley of Douglas, GA, Tommy Beasley of Broxton, GA, Billy Beasley of Douglas, GA and Donnie Beasley of Ambrose, GA; four sisters, Gladys Medders, Marie Thompson, Jenny Adams and Peggy Williams all of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Carver.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6:00 TO 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Billy Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery.
