Glenda Faye Hill, age 59, of Broxton, GA passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Hill was born on December 23, 1956, in Coffee County, GA to Margie Nell Lee and the late John Carroll Harrell.

Survivors include: her husband, Jerry Hill, Sr. of Broxton, GA; mother, Margie Lee of Douglas, GA; daughter, Crystal (John) Smitherman of Carrollton, GA; two sons, Jerry (Staci) Hill Jr. of Douglas, GA and Chad (Caressa) Hill of Buford, GA; three brothers, Junior (Wanda) Harrell, Ronnie (Mary Sue) Lee and Joe (Stephanie) Harrell all of Douglas, GA; stepmother, Shirley Harrell of Douglas, GA; thirteen grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Holiness Baptist Church.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
