The South Georgia State College Hawks defeated ABAC 6-0 March 8 in Tifton, Ga.

Shawn Blue was at the mound most of the game and allowed no earned runs on four hits, helping the Hawks (11-12) earn and retain their lead.

The Hawks totaled 10 hits, including an impressive offensive showing by Mikal Flores. He reached base four times by having singles in the first and fifth innings and a double in the seventh. The scoring began in the third as the Hawks recorded one run on an RBI single by Christian Harkey. The Hawks added three runs in the seventh to clinch the game on an RBI single by Conner Durden and a two-run single by Chase Hinson.
