Coffee Middle School’s 8th grade symphonic band recently traveled to Wayne County High School to perform for a group of judges.  They received all 1 (Superior) ratings from the judges on their Prepared Pieces Performance on stage.  This is a huge accomplishment for the students, and they have worked very hard this semester to earn these ratings.  They also received a 1 (Superior) in the Sight-Reading room.  In this room, the band had six minutes to look over a piece of music and then perform it for the judge.  The Coffee Middle School band program appreciates all the help from the administration and parents.

The 7th Grade symphonic band traveled to Valdosta High School to perform for a group of judges on Tuesday, March 8.  They received a 1 (Superior) and two 2’s (Excellence) from the judges on their Prepared Pieces Performance on stage.  They also received a 1 (Superior) in the Sight-Reading room.
