Faye H. Paulk, age 76, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016, at residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Paulk was born on April 6, 1939, in Irwin County, GA to the late Pleasant Lester Harper and Martha Studstill Harper. Mrs. Paulk was a graduate of Irwin County High School. She attended South Georgia College where she received her Assoc. Degree in Nursing and Albany State College where she received her BS in Nursing.
Survivors include: her daughter, Deborah Paulk of Douglas, GA; two sons, Phil (Lisa) Paulk of Jonesboro, AR and Ben (Miranda) Paulk of Douglas, GA; three granddaughters, Lauren Paulk of Jonesboro, AR, McKenzie Paulk of Douglas, GA and Anna Paulk of Douglas, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Paulk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Benji Varnell, Rev. Sam Vernon and Joy Paulk officiating. Interment will follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
