Mr. Carl David “Dago” Mercer, age 71, of Pearson passed away suddenly Saturday morning, April 9, 2016, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 2, 1944, to the late William Dave Mercer and Elease Taylor Paul.

Survivors include: His Wife: Kitty Mercer of Pearson, Ga.; 2 Sons: Michael David (Bree) Mercer of Pearson, Ga., and Mardy E. (Bridgette) Mercer of Ambrose, Ga.; His Mother: Elease Taylor Paul of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Brother: James Edward “Pete” (Dot) Mercer of Kingsland, Ga.; 1 Sister: Ann (Wilton) Spivey of Douglas, Ga., 1 Step Brother: Dennis Wright of Douglas, Ga.; 3 Grandchildren: Madison Mercer of Ambrose, Ga., Annaston Mercer, and Lillie Mercer, both of Pearson, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 1:00 P. M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with the Interment to follow in the Arna Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
