Elizabeth Renee Douglas, age 47, of Alma, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Douglas was born on June 14, 1968, in Augusta, GA to Florine Revis Mercer and the late Wilson Mercer.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael Douglas of Alma, GA; mother, Florine Mercer of Ocilla, GA; son, Channing Dilling of Douglas, GA; two brothers, Henry Mercer of Ocilla, GA and Ronald Mercer of Ocilla, GA; two sisters, Susan (Bennie) Evans of Ocilla, GA and Rose (Glen) Christy of Snellville, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
