Students from South Georgia State College’s (SGSC) School of Nursing recently participated in a Teen Maze at Pierce County Middle School (PCMS).

Some of the nursing students conducted educational presentations about positive and negative peer pressure, character, and abstinence. Other roles included serving as guides through the 12-station maze and providing hospitality to all event volunteers.

SGSC Assistant Professor of Nursing Lauren Thornton said the PCMS administration and a representative from the Southeast Health District “commended the students on their leadership and involvement with the Teen Maze.”

For more information about SGSC’s School of Nursing, call (912) 260-4356 or email nursinginformation @ sgsc.edu.
