Satilla Archers participated in the NASP 3D Target challenge on April 23. Archers had the chance to shoot at targets shaped like real animals. The targets consisted of a turkey, coyote, antelope, bear, deer, and ram. Satilla placed 2nd as a team, with Brody Rish finishing 5th overall for elementary boys and Caitlin Wilson placing 6th overall for elementary girls.

The following students participated: Branson Bush, Brody Rish, Alex Lara, Payton Dickerson, Brody Kelley, Jesus Vergara, Natanael Tapia, Emily Stone, Caitlin Wilson, and Lacey Stone.

One former Satilla student, Dillon Kelley, participated in the middle school division. Dillon placed 4th for all 6th grade boys.

The Archers had a great year and are looking forward to next year. A special ‘thanks’ goes out for all the hard work from coaches Alan Chancey, David Medders, Kim Stone, and Angela Kelley.
