Students from Indian Creek Elementary School, led by Ken Erickson, competed in the Noetic Learning Math Contest last month.
Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national elementary math problem solving contest held twice a year. More than 30,000 young mathletes representing over 700 schools across the country participated in this year’s spring contest.
The following students received National Honorable Mention. This title is awarded to approximately the top 50% of participating mathletes.
The following students were the team winner(s) for their respective homerooms:
Erickson- A tie between Serenity Butler and Camyra Clemmons
Johnson- Grayson Rockett
Luke- Scarlett Davis
White-Hannah Rogers
Hannah Rogers won the National Honor Roll title. This title is awarded to approximately the top 10% of participating mathletes across the country. She will receive a second medal.
Congratulations to all the winners! The contest results demonstrate our students’ great problem solving skills and math talents. They also show that our students can rise to the occasion and can meet the challenge.
