Rev. Hugh Jerome Hinson, age 60, of Ambrose passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 2016, at the Medical Center of Georgia in Macon, following injuries received in an earlier auto accident. He was born August 9, 1955 and reared by his grandparents, the late Dewey Hinson and the late Stella Carver Hinson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jerri Kay Jowers.

Survivors include: His Wife: Sarah Spivey Hinson of Ambrose, Ga. 2 Daughters: Candace (David) Vickers of Ambrose, Ga., and Andrea (Josh) Anderson of Douglas, Ga.; 3 Grandchildren: Waylon Vickers, Weston Vickers, and Rowan Vickers, all of Ambrose, Ga.; 1 Sister: Sherry (Gene) Haskins of Douglas, Ga.; Special Friend: Jesse Gonzales of Glennville, Ga.; 2 Uncles Ray(Bonnie) Jowers and Ralph Jowers of Broxton, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 2:00 P. M., at the Stone’s Chapel Church, with the Interment to follow in the Bethany Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
