Timothy Benton, age 55, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Benton was born on April 1, 1961, in Douglas, GA to Elizabeth Ann Paulk Benton and the late Elton Benton.
Survivors include: his son, Tyler Benton of Douglas, GA; mother, Ann Benton of Douglas, GA; brother, Ricky (Becky) Benton of Douglas, GA; sister, Patricia (Victor) Davis of Titusville, FL; and several uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Kimbrell and Rev. Walt Deloach officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.
