Library system receives $2 thousand for Summer Reading Program

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation recently awarded Satilla Regional Library System a Summer Reading Program Grant in the amount of $2,000. Representatives with the library system stated the grant was applied for earlier this year.

Library representatives also thanked the following businesses and individuals that have made donations towards the 2016 Summer Reading Program: Aden’s Minit Mart, Aniston’s Restaurant, Ankle and Foot Associates, B.F.D Tobacco, Cato Accounting and Tax, Curtis Farrar and Annie Farrar, Danny’s Pizza, Douglas Physical Therapy, Farrar, Hennesy and Tanner, Flash Foods, Flying Cowboy, J & J Auto Parts, Jinnie Shrouder Cleveland, D.M.D, P.C, Joann Worrell, Malphus Electric Contracting, Moore Farms: Kerry V. Moore, Norris Shoes, Plant Communications, Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Roberts Milling Company, Ruby Tuesday’s, Ranchero’s Fresh Grill, Sims Funeral Home, Spectrum Apparal Company, South Georgia Cosmetic, The People’s Bank, and Two Way Communications, Inc.

Summer Reading Program 2016 at Satilla Regional Library System will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 through Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Children and teens may visit any Satilla Regional Library location to register.
