Mr. Aquileo Altamirano, age 82, of Douglas passed away Tuesday evening, May 31, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born May 12, 1934 to the late Fernando Altamirano and the late Amanda Sanchez.
Survivors include: His Wife: Sofia Montiel Altamirano of Douglas, Ga.; His Children: Dolores Altamirano, Fidel Altamirano, both of Douglas, Ga.; Sofia C. Gallegos of Indiana , Jose Arturo Altamirano of Florida, Lucia Cerda of Mexico, Juana Altamirano of Texas. Sisters: Cecila Villasana, Margarita Zuniga, both of Texas. Brothers: Vicente Zuniga of Texas. 19 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Friday, June 3, 2016, at 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home . The Interment to follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
