Mrs. Agnes Arphelia Sapp Dennison, age 84, of Douglas passed away early Monday morning, June 20, 2016 at the Irwin County Hospital following an extended illness. She was born February 10, 1932 to the late William Sapp and the late Clydie Richardson Sapp.
Survivors include: 4 Children, Talmadge William “Billy” Dennison of Tifton, GA, Shirley Juanita Mercer and Timothy Allen Dennison both of Douglas, GA, Terry Wayne Dennison of Willacoochee, GA; 1 Sister, Laura Jane Powell of Douglas, GA; 10 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at the Pearson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Leonard Pittman, Rev. Ronnie Patton and Rev. Scott Smith officiating. The interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery. Mrs. Dennison will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. to lie in state until the funeral hour. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening, June 21, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.
