Pennie Pearl Morgan, age 76, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System. Mrs. Morgan was born on September 22, 1939, in Nicholls, GA to the late Marvin Pat Smith and Etha Mae Teston Smith.

Survivors include: her three daughters, Theresa Carter of Lompoc, CA, Pattie Wright of Nicholls, GA, and Traci Locklear of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren, Morgan (Jason) McNabb, Bonnie (Nathan) Poole, Hannah Wright, Kimberly Wright, Savannah (Brent) Chavis; six great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Adams and Mag (Gordon) Lewis; two brothers-in-law, George (Hazel) Morgan and Harley Gillespie; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Morgan; and her parents, Marvin Pat Smith and Etha Mae Teston Smith.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Wilsonville Church of God of Prophesy with Rev. Kyle Taft, Rev. Bill Musgrove, and Rev. Edison Taft officiating. Interment will follow at Tanner Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
