Mr. Larry Luther Troupe, age 62 of Nashville, GA, passed away Saturday night, June 25, 2016 at the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Troupe was born July 4, 1953 to the late Edward Troupe and the late Elzie Mancil Troupe. He was preceded in death by four brothers, David Troupe, Raymond Troupe, Terry Troupe and Buddy Troupe.
Survivors include: His wife, Cassandra Jewell Troupe of Nashville, GA: 1 Son, Chad Troupe of Nashville, GA: 2 Daughters, Kimberly Lott of Douglas, GA and Selena West of Ray City, GA; 2 Brothers, Wendell Troupe of Douglas, GA and Donnie Troupe of Nashville, GA; 2 Sisters, Joann Harper and Geraldine Fender both of Pearson, GA; 6 Grandchildren, Carter Cribb, Conner West, Cain West, Garrett Troupe, Wyatt Troupe and Fisher Lott.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. at the Christian Fellowship Church of Mud Creek in Lanier County with the interment to follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Mr. Troupe will be placed in the church at 12:00 noon to lie in state until the Funeral Hour. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, June 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.
