The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, along with local authorities, is investigating the deaths of a Coffee County couple found dead in their home Friday.

Officials discovered the bodies of Donald and Linda Morris after receiving a call to check on the two at a house on Trellis Dr., which is located in an area off Cross Rd. north of Douglas.

Authorities have released little information regarding the investigation, including casuses of death, but the bodies of the couple have been taken to the GBI’s medical examiner’s office for autopsies.

Anyone with information that could assist authorities in this case is asked to contact the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office at 912-384-4227 or the GBI at 912-389-4103.
