Mr. Grady Hareld Snipes, age 73, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Snipes was born on October 22, 1942 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Benny Forest Snipes and Beatrice Rowell Snipes. Mr. Snipes was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Lorraine Waters Snipes.

Survivors include His three daughters: Lisa (David K) Lott of Douglas, GA; Tammie Ann Snipes of Nicholls, GA and Tina Snipes of Edisto Island, South Carolina; his son: Eddie Joe Snipes of Douglas, GA.; four brothers: Billy Snipes of Jacksonville, FL; Fred Snipes of Columbia Fall, Montana; James Snipes and Terry Snipes both of Nicholls, GA; one sister: Ruby Hersey of Douglas, GA; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister: Kathleen Clinger and two brothers: Carl Snipes and Charles Snipes. In lieu of flowers donations may be made toward funeral expenses.

Visitation and Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Roxy Mae Church.
