Robert “Shayne” Sinquefield, age 55, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Sinquefield was born on March 26, 1961, in Mount Dora, FL to Marjorie Rollins Sinquefield and the late William Randolf Sinquefield, Sr.

Survivors include: his wife, Gina Sinquefield, of Douglas, GA; two sons, Robert “Rob” Shayne Sinquefield, Jr. of Douglas, GA and Perryn “Chase” Sinquefield of Douglas, GA; mother, Marjorie Rollins Sinquefield of Douglas, GA; three sisters, Toya (Jerry) Waldron, of Douglas, GA, Renae (Charles) Woods, of Douglas, GA, and Debbie (Gerald) Carver, of Douglas, GA; mother-in-law, Virginia Lewis, of Douglas, GA; sister-in-law, Dena Moore, of Douglas, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, William Randolf Sinquefield, Sr.; brother, William Randolf Sinquefield, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Raleigh Sinquefield.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. The body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Elder Jerry Waldron and Rev. Carroll Carver officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
